When you call
What happens when you call or text
You reach a person. These are the hours, in order, and what we do with them. The first visit is always in daytime.
- 01The first contact
Step 1: You call or text
Phones are answered Monday to Friday, 7 am to 8 pm, and Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm. The text line is read every day, 6 am to 11 pm. Outside those hours, leave a voicemail or a text; it is the first thing read in the morning.
- 02Bonnie or Rochelle
Step 2: A person answers
Bonnie runs the phone and the text line. Rochelle takes over when it needs a technician's eye. Tell us what you saw, where and when. A photo helps, and you can text it to the same number.
- 03While the line is open
Step 3: You get a plain answer
We say what it looks like from the photo, and say so when we can't tell. We don't diagnose by text and we don't quote by text.
- 04Before bed
Step 4: You hear what to do tonight
Usually it is a short list: where to stay out of, what to put away, what not to spray. The list below has the common ones.
- 05Next morning or later
Step 5: We book the first open visit
Visits are Monday to Saturday in daytime. You get a two-hour arrival window and the name of the person coming, by text, the day before.
- 06At the door
Step 6: The visit
We inspect first, show you what we found and put a written quote in your hands before any treatment. Nothing is done until you say yes.
- 07The guarantee
Step 7: After the visit
A follow-up check goes on the calendar. If the pest we treated returns within 60 days, we come back; the terms, limits and exclusions are on your written scope.
What we don't do
We don't send a truck at night
A treatment done in the dark, without a look, is a guess. So the night is for answers, and the day is for the work.
No night visits and no night treatments.
No prices or quotes by text. The quote is written, at the visit.
No wildlife. We don't remove bats, raccoons or snakes; call a licensed wildlife operator.
No medical advice. If someone has trouble breathing after a sting, call 911.

Until we come
What to do tonight, by pest
General advice. When we write back, we'll say what applies to your home.
Ants
Wipe the trail with soapy water and put food, pet bowls and trash out of reach. Spraying the line can scatter them into other rooms, so leave it for us.
Roaches
Put food away, wipe the counters and take the trash out. Skip foggers; they can push roaches deeper into the walls, and we need to see where they are.
Mice and rats
Put food in sealed containers and take the trash out. To clean droppings, wear gloves, wet them first and wipe; don't sweep or vacuum them dry.
Wasps and hornets
Keep away from the nest and keep children and pets inside. Don't spray it or block the hole. If someone has trouble breathing after a sting, call 911.
Bed bugs
Leave the mattress and bedding where they are, and don't move furniture to another room. Wash and dry what you have already stripped, bagged, on hot.
Something you can't name
Photograph it, with a coin or a pen beside it for size, and text it. Don't touch it with bare hands.

Text a photo now
The text line is open until 11 pm. After that, it is the first thing we read in the morning.
